Hello!

I’M NYREE

Life has a way of changing the plans we thought we had.

Over the years, I’ve been many things—a wife, a mother, a homeschool educator, a wellness centre manager, a business owner, a caregiver, and a woman who spent a very long time holding everything together. Like many women, I became so focused on caring for everyone else that somewhere along the way, I lost sight of myself.

I understand you – I’ve been there too!

MY STORY

My journey into reinvention wasn’t something I chose. It arrived through a series of life transitions that many women will recognise. The breakdown of a long marriage. Years of uncertainty and living in limbo. Financial stress. Health challenges. Perimenopause. Kids growing up and creating their own lives. Questions about identity, purpose, and what I wanted the next chapter of my life to look like. For a long time, I believed the answer was to work harder, push through, and figure everything out. Instead, life kept teaching me something very different.

It taught me that not every season is for building.

Some seasons are for resting. Some are for healing. Some are for listening. Some are for becoming.

The more I paid attention, the more I began to see that life moves in seasons. When we understand the season we’re in, we stop fighting ourselves. We stop measuring our worth by productivity. We stop expecting ourselves to be in full bloom when we’re actually being called inward, toward rest, reflection, or change.

In late 2025, after being made redundant from a role I genuinely loved, a week before my long-running divorce was finalised, I found myself standing at another crossroads. While many people would describe redundancy as an ending, I experienced it as something else entirely. Beneath the uncertainty was a quiet but persistent feeling that I was being called toward something new. The thought kept returning:

What if everything I’ve been through could help other women navigate their own seasons of change?
Women facing divorce. Burnout. Empty nesting. Redundancy. Health challenges. Reinvention. Women who felt stuck between who they had been and who they were becoming.

A few weeks later, I revisited my Human Design profile for the first time in years. What surprised me wasn’t the information itself—it was how accurately it reflected the calling I had already been feeling. The themes of guiding, sharing lived experience, creating through response rather than force, and helping others find clarity through their own journey seemed to mirror exactly what had been unfolding in my life. It felt less like discovering something new and more like being reminded of something I already knew.

Nyree Redefined was born from that place.

Not as a business plan. Not as a personal brand. But as a space for women navigating life’s transitions with more intention, less pressure, and a deeper trust in themselves. A place for the woman who knows something is changing, even if she can’t yet name what comes next.

Through the Season Quiz, the Season Reset resources, the newsletter, and the community, my hope is simple: to offer language, perspective, and encouragement for whatever season you find yourself in. Not because anyone else can tell you what your path should look like, but because understanding where you are often makes the next step much easier to see.

Because life moves in seasons.

Understanding yours changes everything.

MY MISSION

To create a space where women navigating life’s transitions can understand the season they’re in, trust themselves more deeply, and move forward with greater clarity and intention.

Fun facts

GET TO KNOW ME BETTER

MY FAV MUSIC BAND:

So many! Most music from the 80’s & 90’s with a leaning towards epic big hair rock ballads. Really, anything from Carole King to Teddy Swims.

FAVOURITE TV SHOW:

I don’t watch a lot of TV, but some include Bridgerton, Virgin River, Emily In Paris, and the various iterations of the Dutton family stories.

I’m really not sure, as I feel quite unemployable at this stage. I’m all about helping people and solving problems, though, so I can’t imagine anything better than doing what I’m doing. As my youngest daughter moves through her teens, it will be nice to travel a bit more. I’d most likely be taking on a new reno project or doing something in the garden – at the very least, adding inspiration to my Pinterest boards!

Most definitely a cat person. My partner and 2 daughters are my loves. Dark chocolate is life. Walks & weights. Trivia nights. Natural health & organics (former Naturopath).

Squirrels are our family mascot, representing the fact that we’re all a bit ADHD. We have squirrel toys in our cars, and a cabinet dedicated to all things squirrels!
